MCI's Fifth Rotation of Students from the University of Mindanao is Complete

Minority Care International is pleased to inform you that one of its students, Romelyn Antipuesto, is the eleventh of our MCI scholars to complete the Student Exchange Program in which MCI partnered the University of Mindanao with Texas A&M-Commerce. We firmly believe that education is our nation's best form of international diplomacy. Romelyn left on August 2013, to attend Texas A&M-Commerce’s fall semester, took cross-cultural courses there, and also participated in an internship program. She interned in the North Texas Dental Clinic and at Active Wealth Management of Greenville, Texas, working to benefit from this cross-cultural experience and to share those practices used in the Philippines. Romelyn made a PowerPoint about how the USA experience helped her prepare for her future careers and also enabled her to get credits for her internship there.

Last fall Arhly Bereber and May Dumas, the fourth batch of MCI scholars from UM to participate in the International Student Exchange Program, completed their coursework with high grades and their internships with strong evaluations.
